What can you expect at CWC?

MUSIC: We have a modern worship band, using guitars, electric and acoustic, drums, keyboard and vocalists. The songs are upbeat, intimate and the words are real. For those looking for a spiritual experience and an encounter with God that is meaningful and engages the heart, our music service provides a good medium.

WORSHIP: Our folks normally stand when we sing but everyone is free to adopt any posture that is comfortable. We stand because the practice of the early church and that of the worshippers in ancient Israel was to stand in respect of God. The practice of sitting while singing also makes it more difficult to participate fully, since this kind of music is not so much a performance than a co-operative concert of praise!

According to Pastor Robin, worship that engages you and challenges you to love the Lord God with all your mind, with all your heart and all your strength is the only kind of worship that God values. Be prepared to be real and to find an experience of God that will change you.

MONEY AND GIVING: We provide an opportunity for people to give tithes and offerings. Finances are a real and critical fact of our culture. Jesus spoke about money and the issues with finances roughly four times more than he did about heaven! By encouraging folks to participate with CWC financially, we allow everyone to invest in our vision and goals. However, we do not expect or require than visitors participate with us in giving, except by their own desire to.

MESSAGES: Relevant and keyed to what's happening in today's post-modern Canada. Discovering God's eternal truths and how they are relevant today is a key to spiritual reality, and Pastors Robin and Cathy Toupin are known for messages that will challenge and inform you.
