August 27,2003: Calgary Worship Centre is pleased to announce that the Govenment of Alberta has approved the name change from; "Queen's Park Full Gospel Church of Calgary" to the new name of "Calgary Christian Worship Centre Ministries".

"We are very excited." Stated Senior Pastor Robin Toupin. "This is another step in a complete refocus and move towards a ministry that genuinely addresses the 21st century needs of Calgarians." The name change, along with changes in the leadership structure and constitution are being seen as part of a new church, rather than just cosmetic changes, Toupin said.

Calgary Worship Centre is a purpose driven church focussed on assisting Calgarians with their spiritual journey and helping them Discover their Destiny.

SEPTEMBER 14, 2003: Calgary Worship Centre is pleased to announce the completion by Dr. Billy Schuetz of his seminar "Releasing and Increasing Prospering Faith". Dr. Scheutz, an internationally known Christian leader spoke to a receptive audience on Saturday and Sunday. The comments from those present spoke of personal growth and motivation in the area of finances.

Dr. Schuetz is listed in "Who's Who" and has taught a variety of personal growth seminars in Asia, Africa and North America over the past thirty years.

SEPTEMBER 23, 2003: Calgary Worship Centre is pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Wall and Carrie Field to the shared responsibility of Youth Ministry at CWC. Justin and Carrie are a dynamic young couple that have demonstrated leadership and gifting in the area of youth.

FEBRUARY 21, 2004

Calgary Worship Centre has just completed a Church Use Opinion Survey in North Calgary. A door to door survey was conducted this week in Panorana, Coverntry and Harvest Hills (north) as part of an ongoing feasability study. CWC's goal is to determine the viability of relocating to the North Calgary city limits. The study may be reviewed here:
