The arguments of the environmentalists I can understand, but how do the churches that are participating in this make their argument?
| Quote: | The religious objection to bottled water extends beyond the excessive markup, however. Water is mentioned throughout the Bible and is an important sacramental item for religious rituals, such as baptism.
That's why the objection to selling it can be intensely theological. |
So does that mean we are not supposed to drink it? Does that mean we are supposed to be like animals and go down to the nearest watering hole of bacteria infested brown water?
One of the dental arguments are that bottled water doesn't have fluoride in it, so you loose that tooth protection. It funny how the few or many dentists are against bottled water, but are not against the cities and municipalities that don't allow city water services put fluoride in the water (Kelowna BC is and example).
So what is everyone’s take on this article? If anyone can put light on the subject how the bible says this is wrong would be great or vice versa.
Later EH!
