Here is how it used to work: You started attending a church. After you 'proved' yourself and demonstrated that you knew how to tow the party line, say the right things and dress the right way, you might be invited to join the choir...or teach Sunday School...or even, dare we say it,be an Usher.

In time, you might get elected to a committee, maybe even the Board! Woah! Then you can walk proudly as a real 'spiritual' man or woman.

 

Lets get real!!!!!!

 

God doesn't care how you dress, whether or not you know all 53 major Bible themes by heart and that you have 'proved' you are 'faithful'. God cares about you and me exactly as we are right now!

At CWC, everyone can get involved the very first day they show up! You want to spend you time giving back to the city we live in? Great! You want to organize a team of people to shovel sidewalks this winter? Why not! Maybe you just want to sit there and enjoy the music. Grab a coffee. Go ahead.

Tired of passing the plate and asking for money and calling THAT 'ministry'? Come on. You are better than that! God has given you a unique set of gifts, combined with your personality and experience. Why not be creative? Decide what really excites you..
