Calgary Worship Centre
Calgary, Alberta is our home. We believe that many Calgarians, if presented with the claims of Jesus Christ in an intelligent manner would be excited to discover the reality of God and the joy of a personal relationship with Him.

CWC is a church for those who hate going to church. We think attending church should be enjoyable, without that uncomfortable feeling that many people experienced in the past. Traditional church services and even many modern churches leave people feeling like they are more interested in your wallet than in you! Often, members are unfriendly to visitors. At Calgary Worship Centre, you will find a group of friendly, happy people who have discovered the joy of the Christian lifestyle! You will hear positive, practical messages that will encourage you. You will not be asked for money! And you will have a chance to see God directly touching lives, through miracles, healing and His love.

Our vision for Calgary is to provide a safe environment in Calgary for those who have never been to a Christian church before and to help them in their search for spiritual truth. For this reason we welcome visitors but make no special effort to single them out. Calgary Worship Centre is a safe place for those with little or no experience with church to determine their level of interest. Those who may have attended church in the past will find significant changes. Our church music is upbeat and contemporary, the atmosphere is casual and the people are warm and friendly.

We offer a variety of programs, focused on Sunday morning's Worship Service at 10:00 am. Located in Calgary at the Crossroads Community Centre, 1803-14th AVe NE, we offer free parking behind the building in our lot. For the younger ones, we include a special children's church after the morning song time. This allows parents and caregivers time to relax and consider the challenging and relevant messages presented by Dr. Robin Toupin and the preaching staff of CWC.

According to a recent survey published in the Calgary Herald, more than fifty percent of all those who live in the Calgary area have never been to any kind of church of religious ceremony. Roughly sixty-five percent of homes in Calgary use the internet, and the average household income in Calgary is just over sixty thousand dollars. Although Calgarians have busy lifestyles and are affluent, there is an increasingly large number longing to discover the spiritual context of life and the values of a holistic and fulfilled lifestyle.

Armed with these and other demographics, Calgary Worship Centre church desires to find a way to effectively communicate the truths of Jesus Christ in a fresh way. Our primary mandate is the City of Calgary, in particular we are focused on the growth areas in north Calgary.
